Who answers my prayer?

Who answers my prayer?

Question about affirmationsQuestion: Is my soul giving me the answer to my prayer?

Answer: Your soul is not what is giving you your desire, the Universe is. The Universe the power within you. Universe (or whatever your term for god is) has all the good you want in potential for you. It won’t be given to you until you accept it, on every level of your being.

The soul (your subconscious/creative mind) is the interface between your conscious mind and conscious desire and the Universal givingness. The soul (your subconscious) has been programmed to limit your acceptance. It’s been programmed from birth, and it filters out much of the Universal good because of what you’ve been taught to believe. Only when you’re able to reprogram it to believe and accept more, will you receive it from the Universe.

Sparks of InsightIf you feel stalled or stuck in some area of your life, meditate on it and ask for guidance. The answer is within you. Visualize and affirm the solution. If there isn’t some progress within a reasonable period of time, take some constructive action. The movement may be in the direction of your goal, or it may be in a complementary area. Simply begin to channel energy to get things moving, for action begets action. More than likely, there will be some development or direction for you.

Sparks of Insight“There is a Power and a Presence that surrounds and indwells me. It’s wisdom and love flow through me and my subconscious mind, washing it clear of all resistance to good. I feel the lightness and love fill me.”

Many times, you resist good because it doesn’t fit what you’d consciously want, feel you deserve, or are able to conceive. Recognizing the Presence of the Universe raises your consciousness above all those challenges. Since God, the Universe, is all good, and everywhere present, you’re telling your subconscious that anything blocking It doesn’t belong.

Sparks of InsightIt’s easy and natural to be angry when you’re inconvenienced, treated rudely or poorly by someone. Rather than giving in to your first impulse, try taking a mental step back and approaching it from a more spiritual direction. Imagine yourself in their situation, and ask how you would react. You might discover that, although it shouldn’t have happened, you would be in a bad mood, too. Respond with empathy and compassion, and see what happens. More than likely, they’ll moderate their actions. If they don’t, you’ll have gotten some understanding and taken the high road.

Sparks of Insight“There is nothing good nor bad, but thinking makes it so.” – Shakespeare

The Universe is all good, but the way you perceive circumstances labels them either good or bad. Then, once you’ve labeled them, the subconscious goes to work to make that true for you. It’s only doing what it thinks you want it to do. If you label something good, it will work to bring good about. If you label it bad, then it makes it a self-fulfilling prophecy. Even if something seems to be awful, create the mindset that something good will come from it. That gives the subconscious the direction to derive something that’s beneficial.

Sparks of InsightWhere are you giving away your power? Where is your power going? Are you letting others manipulate you through guilt, anger? Are you letting some unhealthy substance control your actions, or not acting in healthy ways? Are you feeling helpless or hopeless? All of these are symptoms of your handing your power over to someone or something else. You have separated yourself from your Higher Self. You have a right to reclaim yourself and your power. Think about where you’ve given your power away and say, “I reclaim my power!”

Book Review-New Age Hypnosis

Book Review-New Age Hypnosis

New Age Hypnosis
by Bruce Goldberg

Although this book doesn’t go into great depth explaining hypnosis, it does give some great information and principles about the process that most books on this subject don’t cover. It’s a very clear examination of hypnosis and this state of mind.

Dispelling misconceptions, it explains how it’s a natural process. It also addresses topics that other mainstream books on hypnosis don’t even mention, such as karma, the Superconscious mind, self-sabotage, masters and guides, akashic records, angels and much more.

This book is a goldmine of scripts for making your own recordings. You can simply read from the book and make a recording to explore a past life, future life, contact your Superconscious mind and more. If you are interested in tapping into the power of your mind, this book is a must for your library.

Sparks of Insight“I now allow the mind of God to think differently about this problem. I am open to new perspectives and new ideas on how to solve it. I release any resistance to whatever needs to happen for the solution to be made plain.”

Many times we get into a rut when dealing with a problem. There doesn’t seem to be any solution, and our very belief about that blocks any possibility of resolution. But from the perspective of the Universe, there is no problem, there are only solutions.

Sparks of InsightI’ve heard people say that, although they once had close relationship with God, they feel a distance or complete absence of the Divine. They wonder why God has abandoned them. The Universe still indwells and surrounds them. What has happened is that they’ve changed their relationship with themselves or with God. They either have moved away from their connection, by feeling depressed or traumatized, or they have evolved and they need to update their relationship. No matter what, God hasn’t moved. It’s just that they have changed their perspective. If you’re feeling distant from your center, then you’re the one who has moved.

Book Review-The Dynamic Laws of Prayer

Book Review-The Dynamic Laws of Prayer

The Dynamic Laws of Prayer
by Catherine Ponder

“Pray and Grow Rich” was the first book by Catherine Ponder that I ever read. When I decided to review it, I thought that it was out of print when I couldn’t find it under that name. I was upset, because I knew how valuable the information was. But then I was relieved to find it under the title, “The Dynamic Laws of Prayer.” The second title more closely describes what the book is about.

Prayer helps bring us closer to the God within, contact Its power and releases that energy into our lives. Rev. Ponder dispels the notion that prayer is passive and pleading with a far off deity. In this book, she describes the many different ways we can pray and that prayer is individual. By tackling the difficult issues of what to do when prayer isn’t immediately answered, she assures us that it’s to help us grow into the result.

The information goes deeply into how to approach the power within you and express it, even if there are blocks in the way. This book addresses the use of affirmations, meditation in the silence, what to do to eliminate unwanted conditions, and much, much more. As with all of her books, it is filled with affirmations. If you want to change your life, this book will give you the tools to do so.
