Sparks of InsightMany people tell me that they can’t visualize, because they expect it to be like watching a television show. It’s rarely that clear. Imagine how your Living Room looks. That’s how visualization would be for you. But it is a skill you can improve. Start by closing your eyes, and imagining a square. Just imagine the four lines of it. Once you’ve been successful with that, imagine the square is colored in. Any color will do. Practice changing the color to something else. As you get better, use other shapes, like a circle, a triangle, and a star. This is one of the basic exercises you can use to strengthen your natural ability to visualize.
