Guided Meditation to Open the Door to Your Next Step
Do you have a dream or vision you want to accomplish? If so, you’ll have to change your behaviors and beliefs to get to the next step towards it. Do you know what those changes might be? Your inner self knows what they are. Join me for this guided meditation to discover what it is you need to do to get to your next step.
I’m Linda-Ann Stewart, Heartvision Consulting, vision strategist, hypnotherapist, speaker. Do you have a dream or a vision you want to achieve? It could be personal, such as reducing weight or developing a talent, or it could be professional, such as building your business or getting a promotion.
Whatever it is, you may have unsuccessfully tried various tactics to get to the next step towards it. You may have done more of what you’re doing now, and it hasn’t worked. That’s because what you’ve done to get to where you are now won’t help you to get to the next step.
That takes some thinking about, doesn’t it? To take the next step along your journey, you have to upgrade your thoughts, behaviors, decisions and habits. You can’t just do more of the same or, “If you always do what you’ve always done, (you know the rest) you’ll always get what you’ve always gotten.” Right?
So what do you need to do differently to get to the next step along your way? That’s what I want to help you discover with this video. Because you have everything within you that you need to get to that next level. You just haven’t uncovered it yet.
I’d like to share a short meditation that can begin opening doors to the answers you seek. Even if you don’t get anything specific during this meditation, you’re asking your deepest self, subc, some questions. And it doesn’t like unanswered questions. Its role is to creatively find solutions. So just asking the questions will start to open doors within you.
If you don’t want to participate in the meditation, just keep your eyes open and listen to my questions. Don’t try to answer them consciously. Just keep an open mind. If you want to join in the meditation, close your eyes now. Take a deep breath.
What do you truly want in your life? Think about it, in specific, in detail. Imagine being at the next step to getting there. How does your life look like at this next step? How does it feel? Imagine being in that position in the future, at the next step…. and imagine looking back to where you are now. What have you changed to get to that next step? What have you let go of or shifted? How have your beliefs and attitudes changed?
How would someone at that level think… what would they do… what decisions would they make? From that position, what would you tell the current you about what you did to get there? From that position, what insight or understanding do you want to share with your current self to help move you forward?
Return to your current self and life, bringing with you the insight and knowledge you were given. Remembering how it felt to have made it to the next level of your journey. Open your eyes.
Just asking these questions will start your subconscious working on the issue. Pay attention to any insights that come to you. Once you focus on where you want to go, it signals the subconscious to pay more attention to anything that might be pertinent. You may have an opportunity come your way that you would have ignored before. But because you’re willing to move forward, you recognize it now.
